Tear Down and New Construction

Tear down of existing cottage and construction of new custom, single-family home in Waccabuc, New York.  Architect: Teo Siguenza of Bedford, New York.  The exterior features cedar roof and siding with heavy timber accents as well as natural field stone veneer.  Custom mahogany windows and doors throughout the house.  Interior features include character-grade walnut and white oak plank floors as well as natural stone floors over hydronic radiant heating. Stairs and library millwork were done in-house by Gerhard Isop, Inc.  Additional interior features are antique-beamed ceilings in cathedral areas with coffered crown detailing in living and dining rooms. HVAC package includes Carrier's newest hybrid heat system with energy recovery ventilators for efficient fresh air introduction.  Finished basement includes exercise room, sauna, wine room, billiard room and media room.  Three-car garage and second story office connect via breezeway to main home.  A finely-appointed custom home of rustic refinement in a private setting.
