Stone Chapel
Stone children's chapel built for St. Matthew's Church in Bedford, New York. Architect: Donald MacDonald, Cold Spring, New York. Project features fieldstone veneer over cement block with bluestone coping on front facade. Rear facade features bluestone framing of tri-window design element. Interior features are tung-oiled white oak plank flooring, Douglas fir beams with cedar board ceiling. Custom mahogany railing was made to match existing railing details in main church.
